Rough Day Down the Coast

Seas in the NE have been rather large in the past few weeks.  Hopefully signalling the start of the Cod and the Winter season.
Unable to get out fishing at the minute I headed to the coast for the afternoon with my family and my camera to see exactly HOW rough.... I wasnt disappointed

I have struggled to get out fishing much this month due to work and spending time with the family.  However, as usual, I always seem to end up on or near the coastline.  This of course means some pictures!

We managed to get out for a short trip to the Farne Islands out of Seahouses.  My daughter was dying to see a few puffins and despite being after the end of the breeding season we managed to see a few.
