After picking up some fresh crab I decided to get out for an early morning High Water to see if I could find any big Eels. I decided to fish a mark I used to go to with my father years ago, a pontoon moored near the mouth of the River Ouseburn. I took only light gear and small hooks.
I managed 5 fish in about 3hrs which I was very happy about. The biggest of them was a decent 1.5lb.
